KIMoS 5 by Klingelnberg is an integrated software platform for the design, simulation, optimization, and production of bevel and hypoid gears. Built on Klingelnberg’s deep manufacturing expertise, it streamlines the entire workflow from concept to quality assurance, helping engineers achieve target load capacity, efficiency, and noise behavior while reducing iteration cycles on the shop floor.

• End-to-end gear development: from macro-geometry sizing to micro-geometry refinement
• Loaded tooth contact analysis (LTCA) and prediction of transmission error/NVH behavior
• Manufacturing simulation with contact pattern and flank topography prediction under load and tolerances
